Your Community Organizer (and resident holiday enthusiast) Kimberly Dawn Wells has put together a 5 day series of holiday lensmaking secrets for you. She spends a lot of time looking at what makes great lenses, and what makes money on great lenses. (Never a bad thing in a down economy, eh?). So she's here as guest LotD editor on and off for the next few days, sharing her tips and calling out some worthwhile examples along the way. -- Megan
Kimberly's Holiday Lensmaking Secret #1
This year, going green means a lot more than just buying a Christmas tree. Who knew that "low impact" could have such high impact online? Put an environmentally friendly spin on your holiday lenses by introducing new and improved ideas for old traditions. It's good storytelling (and not an unpopular area in search, either).
Lensmaster aj2008, for example, makes shopping for the Twelve Days of Christmas simple and ethical, right down to the five recycled golden rings. Chances are you'll find some fun and unique "green" gifts that will make your recipients' friends green with envy.
